Basilisk Labs Inc. has been awarded funding by the Amazon AWS Startup Programme in an undisclosed sum. The funding will be used to support cloud infrastructure, machine learning projects, and the continued development of the company's core AI systems on AWS.
The programme provides early-stage startups with credits, technical support, and access to AWS's suite of cloud and AI/ML services — enabling Basilisk to accelerate training workloads, scale production inference, and reduce infrastructure costs during a critical stage of growth.
"We are really pleased to receive this funding from Amazon AWS. It will allow us to pursue our AI and machine learning initiatives with the scale and urgency they demand," said Harrison Harvey Hale, Founder and CEO of Basilisk Labs Inc. "We know how difficult it can be for early-stage startups to invest in the long term when capital is limited — support like this makes a genuine difference. It gives us the runway to focus on building technology that matters, without compromising on the infrastructure needed to do it properly."
This award follows the company's recent receipt of Microsoft Azure Startup credits, giving Basilisk Labs a multi-cloud foundation as it builds out its intelligence infrastructure.
