How invoicing, payments, and billing work at Basilisk Labs.

We support several payment methods: BACS bank transfer (details are on your invoice), Stripe invoicing with card or direct debit, and wire transfer for international clients. If you need alternative arrangements, contact accounts@basilisk.global.
Where do I send payment?
Email accounts@basilisk.global with your invoice reference in the subject line. Our team will confirm receipt. Bank details for BACS transfers are included on every invoice.
What are your payment terms?
Please contact accounts@basilisk.global with your account number or invoice reference and our team will be happy to help.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes. We send Stripe-powered invoices that accept all major credit and debit cards. You can also set up direct debit through Stripe for recurring payments.

How do I request changes to an active project?
Contact your assigned project lead directly, or email info@basilisk.global with your project reference. Change requests are scoped and quoted before any additional work begins.

All projects include a handover with documentation. We offer optional maintenance and support agreements for ongoing needs — these can be scoped during or after delivery.
Do you provide ongoing support and maintenance?
Yes. We offer retainer-based support agreements covering bug fixes, security patches, performance monitoring, and feature iterations. Terms are flexible based on your requirements.

Getting Started
How engagements begin, what to expect, and how to evaluate fit.
How do I start a project with Basilisk Labs?
Email info@basilisk.global or use our contact page. We will schedule an initial scoping call to understand your requirements, timeline, and budget — then follow up with a proposal.
What types of projects do you take on?
We cover software engineering, AI/ML systems, platforms, data infrastructure, cloud, and security. See our Solutions page for the full range of over 30 capability areas.
Do you work with early-stage startups or only enterprise?
Both. We work with growth-stage startups, scale-ups, and established enterprises. The common thread is that our clients need production-grade engineering, not prototypes.
How are projects priced?
Pricing depends on scope, complexity, and timeline. We offer fixed-price project engagements, time-and-materials retainers, and hybrid models. Every engagement starts with a detailed proposal.
How long does a typical project take?
It varies significantly. A focused MVP or tool might take 4–8 weeks. A full platform build or AI system can run 3–6 months. We provide timeline estimates during the scoping phase.
Can I see examples of past work?
We share relevant case studies and references during the sales process, subject to client confidentiality. Email info@basilisk.global to request examples relevant to your industry.
Services & Scope
What we build, how we work, and what is included.
Do you build custom software from scratch?
Yes. Most of our work involves building bespoke systems — whether that is a customer-facing application, an internal platform, a data pipeline, or an AI workflow.
Do you work with existing codebases?
Yes. We regularly take over, refactor, or extend existing systems. We will audit the current state and recommend a practical path forward.
Do you provide design as well as engineering?
We provide UX/UI design as part of application projects where needed. For complex design-led work, we can collaborate with your design team or recommend partners.
What technologies do you use?
We are technology-agnostic and choose the stack that fits the problem. Common choices include TypeScript, Python, React, Next.js, Node.js, AWS, Azure, PostgreSQL, and various AI/ML frameworks.
Can you help with cloud infrastructure and DevOps?
Yes. Cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and security are core practice areas. We can build from scratch or improve what you already have.
